You will be responsible for electrical system design, specification, and coordination, ensuring compliance with all relevant building regulations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical installations for new build and refurbishment projects, including lighting, power, and distribution systems.
• Produce detailed electrical design drawings, calculations, and specifications using relevant software.
• Ensure designs comply with Building Regulations, BS 7671, and other relevant standards.
• Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and architectural.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and commissioning activities to verify design implementation.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project management activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical building services design.
• Proficiency in relevant design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Amtech.
• Thorough understanding of electrical building regulations and CIBSE guidelines.
• Experience with energy-efficient design and sustainable building technologies is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
