Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process for projects, from concept development to detailed design documentation.
• Develop comprehensive schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring layouts for complex electrical systems.
• Perform detailed electrical calculations including load flow, fault current, and voltage drop analysis.
• Specify electrical components, equipment, and materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Conduct thorough design reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines remotely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering .
• Proficiency with industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) and electrical design tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards (NEC, IEC), and safety regulations.
• Experience with low and medium voltage systems , power distribution, and control panels.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
