Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Nottingham . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process for new projects, from initial concept to detailed design and specification.
• Develop comprehensive electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and safety circuits.
• Produce detailed electrical drawings, schematics, calculations, and reports using industry-standard CAD software .
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant UK standards, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Provide technical oversight and support during the construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on building services or industrial applications.
• Proficiency in using electrical design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar.
• Strong understanding of low voltage systems, power quality, and protective device coordination.
• Experience in managing design documentation and technical query resolution.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing office and remote responsibilities.
