About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their innovative team, operating in a hybrid capacity. This role involves taking ownership of electrical design projects from inception through to completion, ensuring high standards of quality and technical execution. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, leveraging your expertise to develop cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process for new product development and system upgrades.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring harnesses.
• Specify electrical components, materials, and equipment, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and validation testing for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in ECAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle) and simulation tools.
• Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits, microcontrollers, and power electronics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, adaptable to hybrid working.
• Ability to contribute effectively both independently and within a team environment in Liverpool .
