Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems, from initial concept through to final implementation.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and calculations using CAD software and relevant design tools.
• Conduct thorough electrical system analysis , including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams, including mechanical engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
• Perform site surveys and inspections to verify design integrity and identify potential issues during installation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is advantageous.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in electrical design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, ETAP).
• In-depth knowledge of relevant UK and international electrical standards (e.g., BS 7671).
• Experience with power systems design , low/medium voltage distribution, and safety protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
