About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will be instrumental in the design and development of innovative electrical systems and components, contributing to cutting-edge projects from conception through to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design and specification of complex systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Develop detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using industry-standard CAD software .
- Conduct power systems analysis , including load calculations, fault current studies, and component selection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
- Perform design reviews and technical troubleshooting to identify and resolve design challenges proactively.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the design and implementation phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in electrical design and engineering.
- Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of power distribution, control systems, and safety standards.
- Demonstrated experience in project leadership and managing technical deliverables in a remote setting.
