Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process for multiple projects concurrently, from conceptualization to detailed design and commissioning.
• Develop innovative and cost-effective electrical system designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panels.
• Specify electrical components, systems, and equipment, ensuring compliance with performance and safety requirements.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and technical feasibility studies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in electrical design engineering.
• Expertise in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Thorough knowledge of power systems, industrial controls, and automation technologies.
• Familiarity with relevant UK and international electrical standards and regulations.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
