Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document electrical systems and components, adhering to project specifications and industry best practices.
• Perform detailed electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate designs and ensure optimal performance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, P&IDs, wiring schedules, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members across engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration and successful project outcomes.
• Troubleshoot electrical design issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Stay abreast of new technologies, standards, and methodologies within electrical engineering to continuously improve design processes and product offerings, supporting Belfast based innovations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in electrical design engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
• Solid understanding of power electronics, control systems, and embedded hardware.
• Experience with international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
• Strong self-management skills and ability to thrive in a fully remote work setting.
