Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan electrical distribution systems, including overhead lines, underground cables, and substations.
• Develop project scopes, specifications, and cost estimates for network upgrades and maintenance.
• Analyze network performance data and identify areas for improvement to enhance reliability and capacity.
• Oversee the construction and commissioning of new distribution assets, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Provide technical support and expertise to field operations teams and other departments.

  Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical distribution engineering.
• Strong understanding of power distribution principles, equipment (transformers, switchgear), and protection schemes.
• Proficiency in using relevant software for network analysis and design (e.g., GIS, PSS/E, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of current industry trends, such as smart grids and distributed generation.
