Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical power system schematics , single-line diagrams, and control logic for various projects.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and transient stability analysis using industry-standard software.
• Specify and select electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, generators, and protection relays.
• Conduct site assessments and technical reviews for remote installations , ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, mechanical engineers, and field technicians, via digital communication channels.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the remote team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in power system design and analysis.
• Proficiency in using ETAP, PSS/E, or similar power system simulation software.
• Strong understanding of national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills .
• Experience with renewable energy integration and grid modernization is a plus.
