Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced analysis of power systems, including load flow, short circuit, stability, and protection studies.
• Design and specify electrical equipment for substations, power plants, and grid connections.
• Develop and implement strategies for grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and grid resilience.
• Review technical documentation, contractor submittals, and project designs for compliance and quality.
• Collaborate with grid operators, regulatory bodies, and other utilities on interconnected system issues.
• Contribute to the development of engineering standards, procedures, and best practices for power system design and operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the power utility or energy sector.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as PSS/E, ETAP, PowerWorld, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of power system protection principles, relaying, and coordination.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively in a remote work setting.
