Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution networks.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis using industry-standard software.
• Specify and select electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protective devices.
• Develop single-line diagrams , schematic diagrams, and wiring layouts for power systems.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with grid codes .
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior electrical engineers on the team.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a specialization in Power Systems.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering , with a focus on power systems design and analysis.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as ETAP, PSS/E, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of substation design , protection schemes, and grounding principles.
• Experience with HV/MV electrical systems and grid connection requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent report-writing skills.
