Senior Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and protection schemes for renewable energy installations .
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis, calculations, and simulations to ensure system performance and compliance with standards.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for procurement, manufacturing, and installation phases.
• Oversee and participate in the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex electrical engineering challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably within the energy industry or power systems.
• Proficiency in using electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
• Experience with offshore projects or renewable energy technologies is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
