About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in London . This pivotal role involves contributing to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge electrical systems for a variety of innovative projects. You will work within a collaborative environment, leveraging your expertise to solve complex engineering challenges and drive project success from conception through to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and power distribution.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies, risk assessments, and component selection for new projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Perform detailed calculations , simulations, and testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the electrical engineering department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- Strong understanding of power systems , control systems, and embedded electronics.
- Experience with relevant UK and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., BS 7671).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
