Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Overview

RGB seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Witney office on a permanent basis, earning between £47,000 and £57,000 per annum. This full‑time role involves delivering integrated building services engineering within a multidisciplinary consultancy, producing robust, sustainable electrical designs across various UK sectors and overseeing projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design of Building Services projects from feasibility through to construction and completion.
• Produce electrical calculations, specifications, reports and technical documentation.
• Develop electrical designs using industry-standard software.
• Attend client meetings to establish project briefs, budgets and technical requirements.
• Coordinate designs with mechanical, structural, architectural and external design teams.
• Prepare tender documentation and review contractor submissions.
• Carry out site inspections and monitor installation quality throughout construction.
• Review contractor progress and assist with project delivery through to final account.
• Produce condition surveys and reports on existing electrical installations.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and technical delivery.
• Mentor Graduate and Intermediate Electrical Engineers, providing technical guidance and day‑to‑day support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical design engineering and proficiency with relevant software.
• Strong knowledge of British standards and integrated building services.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Current UK Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
