About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical schematics, control systems, and power distribution networks.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical analyses for new projects.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant UK and international standards and regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and project execution.
- Proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical and simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, instrumentation, and control systems engineering.
- Experience with project management principles and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
