Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components for new and existing projects.
- Conduct thorough electrical system analysis , including power distribution, load calculations, and circuit protection.
- Oversee the creation and review of electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to ensure project success.
- Perform site inspections and provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and testing phases.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering design and project management.
- Proven expertise in power systems design , control systems, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., BS 7671).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
