About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems, circuits, and components from concept to production.
• Conduct thorough testing, analysis, and validation of electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise and promoting best practices in electrical engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical system design and development, preferably within the (Specific Industry, e.g., automotive, aerospace) sector.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE).
• Strong understanding of electronic components, power systems, and control circuitry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with hybrid work models and remote collaboration tools is advantageous.
