About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK . This role is instrumental in managing the end-to-end execution of electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. You will be responsible for overseeing design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities, working closely with clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee the design, procurement, and installation of electrical equipment and systems.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project progress and communication.
• Provide expert technical advice and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with professional chartered status preferred.
• Substantial experience (8+ years) in managing complex electrical engineering projects.
• Proven expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of power systems , control systems, and instrumentation for industrial applications.
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in a hybrid working model.
