Senior Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to manage and deliver electrical engineering projects from their Nottingham office. This role involves overseeing projects from the initial planning stages through to completion, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams, providing technical expertise and leadership to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from conception and design to procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide expert technical guidance and oversight on electrical design and engineering aspects throughout project execution.
• Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and quality control inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project engineering or management.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design, installation, and testing principles.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and methodologies.
