About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role is central to managing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical engineering projects within the energy and infrastructure sectors . You will oversee all phases of project lifecycles, from conceptual design through to commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a challenging yet rewarding position offering significant responsibility and the opportunity to shape critical energy infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of electrical systems for energy projects, including power distribution and control systems.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
Ensure all project activities comply with relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Oversee the procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical project engineering , with a strong background in the energy sector .
Proven track record of successfully managing electrical engineering projects from initiation to completion.
In-depth knowledge of electrical design principles, power systems, and relevant industry standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience with project management software and techniques.
