Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Electrical Projects Engineer to join their globally recognized team, operating remotely with ties to their Bristol, South West England, UK hub. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels at managing complex electrical engineering projects from initiation through to successful completion. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines. Working in a fully remote capacity, you will leverage your expertise to lead and collaborate with distributed teams, driving innovation and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in all project aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical engineering projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the design, procurement, and installation of electrical systems and equipment.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing electrical engineering projects, with a proven track record of successful delivery.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
- Experience with contract management and supplier negotiations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
