Senior Electronics Engineer

I'm working with an innovative technology company looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing pioneering technology solutions.

This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of complex electronics challenges,. you'll be involved across the full product lifecycle - from requirements capture and architecture through to design, development, testing, documentation and delivery, with the opportunity to influence technical direction and solve challenging real-world problems.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the design and development of complex electronics hardware solutions
• Taking ownership of electronics architecture, schematic design and PCB development
• Supporting prototype development, board bring-up, testing and validation
• Designing and debugging systems using low-level communication protocols including SPI, I2C, Ethernet and Modbus
• Working across disciplines to integrate electronics with embedded software, mechanical systems and wider technology platforms
• Producing high-quality technical documentation and supporting transition from concept through to delivery
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring within a collaborative engineering environment

Ideally you will have,

• Advanced electronics hardware design and schematic capture (Altium experience desirable)
• PCB layout, including signal integrity and stack-up design
• Experience designing and developing complex electronics systems
• Board bring-up, debugging and system-level testing
• Programming experience in C, C++, C#, Python, MATLAB or Simulink
• Knowledge of FPGA or embedded firmware would be an advantage
