About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Electronics Engineer to join their dynamic team, offering remote working flexibility with a base in Reading . This role will involve leading the design and development of complex electronic circuits and systems for next-generation products. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept and schematic design to prototyping, testing, and production support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analog and digital electronics, PCB design, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of electronic innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex analog and digital electronic circuits and systems.
Create detailed schematics, perform component selection, and design Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) using industry-standard CAD tools.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for prototypes and production units to ensure performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electronic design issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the electronics team.

Requirements

Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in electronics design and development.
Expertise in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI principles.
Experience with mixed-signal design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
