Senior Electronics Engineer

About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for a highly motivated Senior Electronics Engineer to join their innovative R&D team based in Manchester . This role is critical for the design, development, and testing of next-generation electronic systems and components. You will leverage your deep understanding of circuit design, embedded systems, and signal processing to drive product innovation from concept to production. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test analog and digital electronic circuits and systems for new product development.
• Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Implement and debug firmware for embedded microcontrollers and processors.
• Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis on electronic designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and mechanical engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic prototypes and production units, ensuring compliance with specifications.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering , Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware design and development.
• Strong proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Cadence, Altium).
• Experience with embedded systems programming (C/C++).
• Knowledge of RF design, power management ICs, and sensor integration is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach to design and testing.
