About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Electronics Engineer to join their innovative product development team. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of complex electronic circuits and systems for next-generation products. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits and systems, from concept to production.
- Create schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and bill of materials using industry-standard tools.
- Perform circuit simulations, prototyping, and rigorous testing to validate designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues, ensuring product reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers and mechanical designers to ensure seamless integration of electronic components.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in a remote setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in electronic circuit design.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
- Strong understanding of component selection, signal integrity, and power management.
- Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and debugging techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for success in a remote environment.
