Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join their innovative and fully remote product development team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded firmware and software for microcontrollers and complex SoCs.
• Architect and implement real-time operating systems (RTOS) and driver software for various hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements, schematics, and board bring-up procedures.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and system validation.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex hardware and software issues across the entire embedded system.
• Contribute to the overall system architecture, ensuring robustness, security, and scalability of embedded solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in embedded systems development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded environments.
• Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and embedded Linux.
• Familiarity with hardware debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes) and protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
