About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join their cutting-edge team in Reading . Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug embedded hardware and firmware solutions.
- Architect and implement embedded software using C/C++ for microcontrollers and microprocessors.
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests and integration tests for embedded systems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into efficient and reliable embedded designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues in development and production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with a strong focus on firmware/software.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded applications.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level hardware interaction.
- Familiarity with various microcontrollers and development tools.
- Strong debugging skills and experience with JTAG debuggers and logic analyzers.
