Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join their innovative team in Reading . Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded hardware schematics, including microcontroller selection, peripheral integration, and power management.
- Write, test, and debug firmware and low-level software for embedded systems in C/C++.
- Develop and implement communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN) for inter-device communication.
- Integrate sensors and actuators into embedded systems, ensuring accurate data acquisition and control.
- Perform hardware bring-up, system debugging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with software application developers to ensure seamless system functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in embedded systems design and development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M).
- Solid understanding of embedded hardware design principles, including schematics and PCB layout considerations.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and common embedded interfaces.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.
