About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Energy Analyst to join their strategic team in Sheffield . You will be responsible for developing forecasts, assessing risks, and providing valuable insights into the evolving energy landscape. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed market analysis of electricity, gas, and renewable energy sectors.
• Develop short-term and long-term energy price forecasts and demand projections.

• Build and maintain complex financial and analytical models.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Energy Management, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in energy market analysis, consulting, or a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and modeling software (e.g., Excel, Python, R, EViews).
• Strong understanding of energy economics, market structures, and regulatory environments in the UK .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
