Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze current and emerging energy policies, regulations, and market trends at national and international levels.
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations on topics such as renewable energy deployment, energy efficiency, grid modernization, and climate change mitigation.
- Prepare high-quality policy papers, reports, briefings, and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry representatives, NGOs, and academic institutions.
- Provide expert advice and strategic guidance on energy policy issues to senior management and project teams.
- Monitor the implementation and impact of energy policies, evaluating their effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Science, Energy Studies, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in energy policy analysis, research, or advisory roles.
- Deep understanding of the UK energy sector, including policy frameworks, market structures, and key challenges.
- Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement and advocacy.
