Senior Exploration Geologist - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Senior Exploration Geologist to join their global exploration team, working remotely and supporting projects across various jurisdictions. This role is instrumental in identifying and evaluating new mineral opportunities through advanced geological interpretation, data analysis, and strategic planning. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of mineral systems and exploration techniques to guide the company's discovery efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct desktop studies and data compilation for new exploration targets.
• Interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to identify prospective areas for mineralisation.
• Develop exploration strategies and design exploration programs, including field activities.
• Manage and mentor junior geologists and consultants involved in exploration projects.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for management and investment audiences.
• Collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team of geoscientists and engineers.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Geology, Economic Geology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mineral exploration, with a strong focus on target generation and project evaluation.
• Proven track record of discovering significant mineral deposits.
• Expertise in various exploration techniques and geological software (e.g., GIS, modeling software).
• Strong understanding of metallogenic provinces and deposit models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and remote communication skills.
