Senior Field Technician - Security Systems

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Senior Field Technician specializing in Security Systems to join their team in Edinburgh . This role involves the installation, maintenance, and servicing of advanced security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, at various client locations. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and optimal performance of these critical systems, providing expert technical support, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission sophisticated security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms) at client premises.
• Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and performance testing of installed security systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware and software components of security systems.
• Provide comprehensive technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring they are fully trained on system operation.
• Manage service calls efficiently, ensuring timely and effective resolution of reported problems.
• Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance activities, and service reports using company systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining security systems.
• In-depth knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm system technologies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex technical faults in security hardware and software.
• Excellent understanding of networking principles as they apply to security systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated service area.
