You will play a crucial part in month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and supporting audits. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles (e.g., UK GAAP/IFRS).
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
