About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and finalisation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Oversee and manage the year-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, managing the audit process efficiently.
- Provide expert technical accounting advice and support to the finance team and business units.
- Drive improvements in financial processes and reporting systems for enhanced efficiency.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification).
- Significant post-qualification experience (7+ years) in financial accounting and reporting.
- Deep understanding and practical application of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Proven experience in managing audits and complex financial reporting projects.
- Exceptional analytical skills and a meticulous approach to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a remote team setting.
