Job Description
This Senior Financial Accountant role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the accounting team in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. You'll be handling key financial tasks and contributing to the smooth running of the business.

Description
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.
Profile
A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:
- Professional accounting qualifications or close to qualiification (ACA, ACCA). (Ideally first time mover)!
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience in financial reporting and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Job Offer
- Salary between £55,000 and £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- 5% pension with employer match.
- 10% performance-based bonus.
- Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home.
