About the Role

Our client, a leading company based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands , is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic finance team. You will work closely with various departments to interpret financial data and identify key trends and insights. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complex financial analysis, including trend analysis, variance analysis, and profitability studies.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, providing insights into performance drivers.
• Support strategic initiatives, including business case development and investment appraisal.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant degree with significant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) principles.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.
