Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a proactive and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to become an integral part of their finance division based in Leeds . This role is crucial for driving financial performance through insightful analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
• Conduct detailed analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare insightful financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Support business unit leaders with financial planning and analysis to drive strategic initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) and financial modeling.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
