Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their established finance team in Reading . This role is critical in providing in-depth financial analysis, strategic insights, and robust reporting to support key business decisions. You will be responsible for complex financial modelling, performance monitoring, and contributing significantly to the budgeting and forecasting cycles. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including profitability, cost, and investment appraisals.
• Lead the development and refinement of financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and executive teams.
• Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into trends and deviations.
• Collaborate with various business units to gather financial data and provide analytical support.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation within the organisation.

Requirements

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification with a strong financial analysis background.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial analyst or similar role.
• Expertise in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and data visualization tools.
• Proficiency with financial ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
