Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning to support key business decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend identification, and profitability assessments.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide analytical support for business initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement, recommending strategic financial actions.
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide timely updates on performance against targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software is a plus.
