Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in their financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function. This position, based in Belfast but operating remotely, will be instrumental in driving financial insights, supporting strategic initiatives, and optimising financial performance. You will work closely with senior leadership and various business units to provide robust financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend identification, and profitability assessment.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for senior management and board meetings.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance against strategic goals.
• Provide financial support and business partnering to various departments, offering insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role.
• Expertise in financial modelling, data analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of financial principles and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
