Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their strategic finance team in Bradford . This critical role will focus on providing in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling to support key business decisions and drive profitability. You will be responsible for interpreting complex financial data, identifying trends, and presenting actionable insights to senior management. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Conduct variance analysis, investigating discrepancies and providing explanations to management.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support business unit leaders with financial insights and analysis for strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement through rigorous financial review.
• Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities and investment proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and VBA.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience presenting to senior management .
