About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Financial Controller to join their dynamic finance department. This hybrid role is essential for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. You will play a key role in driving financial strategy, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing critical insights to support business growth. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Develop and manage the annual budget process, working closely with department heads.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Lead the financial audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely resolution of findings.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and analysis to senior management to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent professional qualification is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management roles.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP/IFRS , financial reporting, and auditing standards.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
