About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Financial Planner to join their established wealth management practice in Edinburgh . This role involves providing comprehensive financial advice and planning services to a diverse client base, helping them achieve their long-term financial goals. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, developing bespoke financial plans, and ensuring clients are well-informed about investment, retirement, and estate planning strategies. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present tailored financial plans covering investments, retirement, insurance, and estate planning.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their evolving financial needs.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend appropriate financial products and strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with financial market trends, tax laws, and regulatory changes affecting financial planning.
- Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., accountants, lawyers) to provide holistic client solutions.
Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification, such as Chartered Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial planning and wealth management.
- Proven track record of managing a client portfolio and achieving business development targets.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, retirement planning, and tax-efficient strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
