LOCATION – Bury, Manchester
Up to £45,000 + Overtime + Benefits
Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from an experienced Senior Fire & Security Engineer who is looking for a role where their technical ability is genuinely valued.
We're looking for someone with a strong background across Fire & Security , ideally with solid commissioning experience , who can work independently, deal confidently with customers and take ownership of their work.

What You'll Be Doing
- Installing, servicing and maintaining a range of Fire & Security systems.
- Commissioning and handing over systems to customers.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
- Working across Fire Alarm, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems.
- Taking ownership of jobs from installation through to completion.
- Liaising directly with customers and site contacts.
- Completing service reports, commissioning documentation and relevant paperwork.
- Supporting junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge where required.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience within the Fire & Security industry.
- Proven experience with Fire Alarm and Security systems.
- Commissioning experience is highly desirable.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.Experience across multiple disciplines would be advantageous.
- Relevant qualifications such as FIA, BAFE, ECS or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Someone confident working independently and directly with customers.
- An engineer who takes genuine pride in the quality of their work.
