Senior Fitness Instructor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Fitness Instructor to join their premier health and fitness club in Southampton . This role involves delivering exceptional personal training services, leading group fitness classes, and providing expert guidance to members to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to the development of fitness programming, mentor junior instructors, and assist in maintaining the highest standards of customer service and facility presentation. You will be passionate about fitness, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and design personalized training programs for individual clients.
• Deliver engaging and effective group fitness classes across various disciplines (e.g., HIIT, Yoga, Strength Training).
• Provide expert advice and support to club members on exercise, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate client records and track progress towards fitness goals.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new fitness programs and member initiatives.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior fitness instructors and support staff.

Requirements

• Recognized industry qualification (e.g., Level 3 Personal Trainer Certification) and first aid certification.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer.
• Proven ability to deliver a variety of successful group fitness classes.
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Strong sales and client relationship management skills.
• Passionate about health, fitness, and motivating others.
