Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the management and optimization of the entire fleet , including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of remote logistics teams, ensuring efficient route planning and timely deliveries.
• Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure strict adherence to all transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies across all operational areas.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts for fuel, maintenance, and insurance, and drive cost savings.
• Implement and utilize advanced fleet management software and telematics to enhance visibility and control.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in fleet management or a related logistics role, with a proven track record of success.
• Demonstrated experience managing large and complex fleets, preferably in a remote or distributed environment.
• Strong understanding of transportation laws , vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage teams remotely.
