Senior FPGA Engineer
Location: Southampton / Flexible Hybrid Working
Salary: Circa £65K - £85K + Excellent Benefits
Senior FPGA Engineer required by a well-established, specialist wireless communications technology company!
This is a key role developing advanced FPGA solutions for complex wireless communications systems, working across the full engineering lifecycle from requirements and design through to implementation, integration and test.
Essential:
* Strong FPGA design and development experience
* VHDL experience
* Digital signal processing (DSP) experience
* Experience developing FPGA-based solutions for communications systems
* Strong digital hardware design skills
* Experience with FPGA simulation, verification and testing
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
Nice-to-have:
* Wireless communications experience
* Software Defined Radio (SDR) experience
* Experience implementing communications algorithms on FPGA
* Knowledge of RF/wireless communication systems
* Experience taking FPGA designs through the full development lifecycle
