About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in React and TypeScript to join their innovative product development team in Manchester . You will be responsible for building engaging, user-friendly, and performant web applications that define the user experience for our client's digital products. This role involves close collaboration with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate complex requirements into elegant and efficient frontend solutions. You will have the opportunity to influence architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and work with modern frontend technologies in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript .
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing designs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and accessibility.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend bugs and issues across various browsers and devices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proficient with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React .
- Strong experience with TypeScript and its benefits for large-scale applications.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
