About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in React to join their growing technology team in Reading . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user-friendly and responsive web interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role involves collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to translate designs and requirements into high-quality, scalable code. You will play a key role in architectural decisions and mentoring junior developers, contributing to the evolution of their core web applications and digital platforms, driving innovation and user engagement for their client base, all within a flexible hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, performant, and maintainable frontend code using React and associated libraries.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, interactive user interfaces.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Implement responsive designs ensuring optimal viewing across a wide range of devices and screen sizes.
• Mentor junior frontend developers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development .
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Extensive experience with React and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with modern frontend build tools and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Git).
